I am a hardcore caffeine lover, coffee/espresso being my drug of choice. I have invested a fair amount of money in being able to channel my inner barista at home. I got these cups as part of a bundle, or on sale. I honestly don't remember which. I would not have bought them otherwise, we typically use really nice travel mugs that keep our beverages super toasty for hours. But I frequently found myself in a conundrum with departing guests. The good hostess in me wanted to be able to offer "one for the road", but I didn't want to obligate my guests to return my travel mugs. And they are waaaay to expensive to give out like party favors. These cups neatly resolve my dilemma. They keep coffee or other warm beverages reasonably warm and come with both sleeves and lids so you can take your show on the road! As I tend to be pretty absent minded, most of the time, these are a lifesaver for me, personally.
A side note about the lids. I have seen several comments that the lids don't fit well. That has NOT been my experience. They certainly fit every bit as well as any brand I have ever used. And seem far better, in my experience, than most. I don't think it is possible to ge a completely waterproof, leakproof seal in a disposable product, let alone one that is earth friendly. Keep your expectations reasonable, and you will be totally delighted with this product. If you knock the cup over attempting to pick it up, which is how I most frequently spill things, the lid, closed completely with a good seal all the way around, will hold up just fine. I have even dropped a cup on one occasion and came away with only a few drops lost. If not firmly and completely closed, you most likely will have leaks. Like every other product of this nature. Compared directly to other disposable products, this item performs FAR better than the completion. If you want an airtight seal and a lid that won't crack, ever, you need to buy a reusable travel mug. Nothing that is currently widely available comes close, AND this product is earth friendly, just goes to demonstrate that we don't need to pick between our indulgences and being environmentally responsible, we can do both. As long as we keep our expectations realistic, everybody wins!
These are great cups at a great price and this is my go to cup for my inn. I have 4 individual cottages and I put them in every one.

I use these cups at work and the lids stay on tight. I will use these frequently. Love that they are completely compostable.
